Dog Biting Problems - Heres How To Avoid Them

Dog biting problems can occur with any dog!

Many people sometimes make the mistake and are ignorant to the fact that their dog could cause them dog biting problems. Whilst most people would feel scared of a strange dog confronting them they would never imagine their own dog to be like this with them. What would you say for your dog, could you honestly say that he would never bite another person?

Does the thought; "My dog would never attack anyone" enter your mind? Unfortunately your not alone and your dog could bite if he was provoked or felt threatened!
Dog owners will say that their dogs are completely safe with kids. I myself was bitten when I was a child and it often happens and even the most well behaved dogs could bite. If a child is bitten by a dog it can cause a fear to develop in them which can carry on into their adult life. This can easily be caused by the slightest nibble from a dog.

Dogs can inflict potentially life threatening injuries. Luckily my injuries were only superficial. A small amount of medical attention and a few months of mental scarring and the effects have all disappeared. However most people don't come away from a dog bite as fortunately as I did.

The sad truth is that most dog bite incidents can be avoided, I mean a dog doesn't bite for absolutely no reason at all does he?
Not entirely true, all dogs could bite if they are pushed into the fight or flight ssituation and the cause of a dog to bite are not as easy to identify as your would think.

What reasons make a dog bite?
Some experts will disagree that dogs bite because of provocation from or breeding by people. Many types of dog are more susceptible to giving a bite over others however we as humans have owned dogs in our homes of hundreds of years and this domestication has had a huge affect. We have been trying to breed the perfect dog for many years now.

Here is a list of some of things you should bear in mind to avoid getting bitten by a dog:

-Don't disturb your dog when he starts to eat.
-When you encounter an aggressive dog don't make any sharp movements, move away very calmly.
